I remember growing up and being told to learn something new every day. Anyone else have that experience? Learning new things helps your brain continue to grow.

I’m a life long learner (LLL) and a life long sharer (LLS) so I get geeked up and excited when I learn something new and then share it with others.

If you are reading this you likely know that I enjoy introducing people to meditation and that is why I say, “I am your mindfulness & meditation ambassador.” I’ve been meditating for over 20 years and offering a daily online meditation practice with my FB Group –  A Slice of Silence: Your Online Daily Meditation Group since 8/30/18. My group meditations range from about 3- 15 people a session. Not bad for 6:30 am (et)!

There are now tons of online apps for meditation including Calm, HeadSpace and Insight Timer.
In April of 2017 I posted a meditation on Insight Timer and I have been posting meditations on the app regularly. Last week the app began allowing the teachers to host live meditation and talks on the site. I thought… HMMMM that might be interesting to try to see if I can engage more people in my group on FB.

Sooooo… I did something new. I hosted my FIRST LIVE on Insight Timer and had 524 people attend. I also had 14 new people join the group from that session!

I loved going live on Insight Timer and I hope you will join me there or on my daily meditation on Facebook… all the links are here. I’ll be live on Monday, 9/7 @ 1 pm(ET) and Thursday, 9/10 @ 8 am(ET)

I’d love to know what new things you have tried lately… feel free to post a comment or reach out whatever way you fancy.

Just keep doing new things…regularly. Learning and doing new things expands your mind and just might expand your reach!

Keep breathing…we still meditate daily @ 6:30 am and on Wednesdays @ 8 pm (et) – if you want to learn at your own pace, check out my online course, Just Breathe – all the links are here to register.
